Cherries Poem by Justin Gildow

Cherries

Running across this land
In this world
The creatures in this world don't like me
But they're not paying attention to me

While it seems the odds are stacked
against me here
I see a sign of relief
Cherries

Grabbing a few
As they hang in the sky
They taste sweet
They taste great
They bring me a sense of comfort
As I continue along in this world
