Chasing Dreams Poem by Maureen Alikor

Chasing Dreams

Hold my hand
let's walk the walk
and take the land
while we talk the talk

the road
less traveled
will lessen the load
of all we ever wanted

overcrowded is the way
of the average
am not to here to play
cos I am not of this age

chasing my dream
forgetting shadows
while they yet scream
of frustration and boredom
meet me at the top
if you can hitch the ride
