nobody says lifes gonna be bliss
but storybooks say that
it comes close to this
to paradise
but if charlotte says
that she can't find love
then we'll all be waiting
days and days
and even with the daisy chains
around my neck
not gonna stop me
looking like shrek
and if charlotte says
that she cant find love
then no angels will be sent
from above
and there is no use
for wishing and dreaming
we'll just keep up with
our plotting and scheming.
