Chaotic Dawn Poem by Marck Riggins

Chaotic Dawn

Collisions crack glass thoughts from slumber
Wings carry interruptions through black nocturne
The tease of temptations apparent within
Inaccessible, unattainable, call to the coming dawn.

Fluttering flinching flavors sought
Jailed within metallic and glass chariot
Flight-borne feathered familiars forage
Their persistence rebates no reward
But random tappings
timed to awaken
Unconscious,
unwilling
restless reporter...
