I've finally come to realize
what it is that I do wrong
I need to try and heal my heart
instead of just moving along

getting hurt over and over
has made me rethink my life
this time don't fill the hole
that causes me too much strife

redhair burns heart and soul
and it leaves a permanent mark
makes you want to stay friends
hide your feelings in the dark

I know how to heal my heart
how to heal my wounded soul
when loves many ups and downs
on my guts take their toll

Change is the only answer
change in some part of you
by drawing closer to God
he will help you make it through
