Chameleon Poem by Lillian Susan Thomas

Chameleon

Rating: 2.7

Fresh from leafery
slender green lizard
embarks upon the porch
to bask on the wooden deck.
I reach for him;
and startled from a nap,
he scrambles to the shadowy side of a post,
browning to the painted planks.

A truly magnificent image of this magical creature. S :)
