Cerebration Poem by Ernestine Northover

Cerebration

Rating: 4.9

Heavy are my thoughts of you tonight,
You, who's face fills me with sheer delight,
You, whispering in my head through dreams so real,
Why is it, that I so cherish what I feel.

You, who have infused my heart with tenderness,
Making me feel one thousand times so blest,
Picturing you each time a thought peeps through,
I can think of no one else but you.

O, wisp of peace, that offers just a grain
Of calm, how can I replace you in my brain,
They say that time will ease the pain away,
But everyday the grief comes into play.

For you are gone, I can't believe it yet,
I do not know, if I ever can forget,
Heavy are my thoughts of you tonight,
It is with dread that I put out the light!

Really very thoughtful. Ernestine, much can be found in the darkness, so when you turn off you light...let your mind turn on ANOTHER LIGHT. Your writing is so very sensative. A ten from me. God Bless Anabelle
