Celebrating Valentine Day With Spouse Poem by Dr John Celes

Celebrating Valentine Day With Spouse

We seek true love but seldom get;
What love we get is seldom true;
And yet, the search for love goes on,
Despite all failures, set-backs, woes!

We know love rules the world in truth;
We know this truth and yet forget;
The love weapon has many forms;
Some forms can lead to mighty harms.

But Valentine Day is God-send,
For anyone to express love;
Your words can magic potion be
And soothen minds and hearts truly.

And kisses, hugs can work much more
In solitude and privacy;
Remember life is lovely smiles,
And hearty laughter down its miles.
To my beloved wife Mercy Rajam Caroline -
"Happy Valentine Day, dear wife!
Your heart belongs to me for life."
