Cavities Poem by Scarlett Voight

Cavities

Will I get cavities?

I only brush my teeth when you tell me to Mom!
Once a month, that's good enough,
I don't care if I have bad breath
At least I smile pretty.

Will I get cavities?
I really love to eat
Especially chocolate, mmm
And other sweets, anything with sugar
Pretty much everything I can find
Stashed away in the kitchen cupboards
I ate all my dinner Mom!
Time for dessert

Will I really get cavities?
When I was eating
Hamburgers and fries at the bowling alley
I lost a few teeth
But I kept eating anyway

They call me the king of gluttony now
Whatever, I don't mind
Now they tell me I should have listened

Will I really get cavities?
When I don't have teeth?
