Cave Exploration Poem by Katherine H. Belle

Cave Exploration

Rating: 5.0

I am the explorer
the seeker
the maker
In the dark I dance
gliding in and out of romance
tip toeing on the cave floor
With my light
I explore the wet walls
That surround me
and I sence
that scent
of forbidden want
tantalizing and sensuous
my pupils dialate
as they adjust to the moonlight
Hands glide
over ridges and valleys
over smooth and soft
over deep dark forbidden caves
where wet lizzards live
as poke out thier heads
to taste the sweet dew
of a new dawning day

A wonderful poem that has a decidedly romantic quality to it. Your word choices throughout are spot on!
