Catherine And Me Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Catherine And Me

Catherine and me

Eight dollars her order
Transport ten dollars
Regardless of distance
Was not worth…

Honestly I cursed, cursed
Both of them; company, Client.

Finally I got there
Did not find any bell
Knocked waited; and again,
She was late; had delayed…
When she came, came angel
Puffy and blonde hair
Half covered in men's shirt
Bare were legs also chest
Heaven's gate had opened
Unwanted yet wanted
Moved the shirt here, there
I stood and observed
Behaved well; no stare
Talked sweet instead.
"Read the sign on table
It's sweet, I like it…"

She looked there, followed I
Felt she loved flatter…

Black, bold written words
On a white background
"I'm outsy…
Drink in patio…"
White butts of cigarette
Signalled her loneliness.

Heard murmurs of invite…

Her smell was natural
I felt it at our hug of goodbye
But Burt came into mind:
"Do not shit where you eat! "
