Casualties That Count The Hidden Cost Poem by Mark Heathcote

Casualties That Count The Hidden Cost

Every day there are battles
to be won and lost.
"There are heroes and villains,
and casualties that count the hidden cost."

Every day there's an obstacle
to override and overcome.
"Today, there was a stone in my shoe,
looking-back my guess - it was only you."
