Castles In The Sand Poem by Marquita Lawson

Castles In The Sand

Rating: 5.0

He wants to fly away with her and stay with her
And all the while he prays for her that she would understand...
His love for her is so much more
than what's shared by a woman and a man...
She never seeks her way with him; each day is new with him;
She sees God's Son shine grace in him; he helps her to grow strong...
Her love for him moves upward still, and yet it's been there all along...

They can sit silent or talk for hours...
They're thankful for beauty, for simple flowers,
And creatures of the earth...
They hear music in each other's laughter,
And know God has promised them hereafter
A special friendship free of world demand...
So for now in their hearts they love...
Until then, they build their castles in the sand...

He wants to fly away with her and stay with her
and all the while he prays for her...
She never seeks her way with him; each day is new with him;
She sees God's Son shine Grace in him...
They hear music in each other's laughter,
And know God has promised them hereafter
So for now in their hearts they love...
Until then, they build their castles in the sand...
