Carrying - Poem by Lilyann Monahan

The radiance of that day in Spring,
a grace that only God can bring.
You were carried months beneath my heart,
possessing its beat when the days did start.
Placed in my arms, priceless in love,
blessed with a treasure from above.

Beautiful poem, so aptly phrased. Reminds me of thoughts I had when pregnant and having my children. Thank you for sharing.
