Carnival Music Poem by Todd Mcduffie

Carnival Music

The clowns, those painted jesters
All rode in on Thursday
The tigers were rolled in on Friday
She rode in on Saturday
Sunday was a fog
and all I heard was carnival music
Come Monday the feeling had passed
All I heard was carnival music
Maddening, deafening, carnival music
