Cards Poem by to those who wonder what life is about

Cards

Rating: 5.0

as you look around with anticipation
as the dealer passes out five cards
to every player, the bets are placed
cards are exchanged
then there is a hesation
nervously trying to see if someone
might be bluffing
One by one the cards are turned over
you begin to relax
whenit comes to your turn
you wait for a second
to build up tension, but you think
that you have won, the game is yours
then you turn over your cards-
the man after you turns over the last card
a shout comes from your mouth
for you not only lost the game
but all of your money as well
