Capturing Life Poem by Marilyn Lott

Capturing Life

Rating: 5.0

You can see so many fascinating things
From the autumn season to early spring
An amazing place that can be found
In a very different kind of town

It’s the unique Amish style of life
Oh look, there’s somebody’s Amish wife
Traveling from the horse and buggy days
Exciting to see the Amish ways

A surprising look at a tall Sun God
We’re spending time on Illinois sod
Crowning the beautiful Miss Steamboat
She’ll likely ride on a fancy parade float

You can see so much as you’re driving by
And capture life from the camera’s eye
