Captured In Confusion Poem by John J. Seto

Captured In Confusion

Rating: 0.5

Motionless slices of life
Forcefully reminiscing better moments.
Telepathical movements sway from one extreme to the other
As precious time winds down to a silent death.

Mental words exchanged at a blink of an eye
Creating pictures of confusion and insecurity,
Never feeling the soft brush of human flesh
Until the spell is broken.

Rejection, depression, the loss of one's emotions.
Two lovers showing their affection in isolation.
Their minds inhabit a shapeless box
Filled with ageless relics of intimate times together.
