Capsule Of Joy Poem by Babatunde Idowu Ebenezer

Capsule Of Joy

Rating: 3.0

In moments like this,
When sorrow flees,
When darkness fades,
When my tribulations are washed away,
When passion grips my heart,
When my body, soul, heart and mind
Are joined together,
In one blissful capsule,
CAPSULE OF JOY.

Oh, restless time,
Oh, Western wind,
Oh, full moon
Oh, Eastern sun,
I beseech you to halt,
Halt and move no more,
Halt until this bliss is full.
Halt and let my joy be complete.
JOY IN A CAPSULE.

In glorious sunrise like this,
When the tide is high in the northern sky,
Your name sounds like splash of raindrops on a roof,
In blessed morning like this,
When there is no trace of cloud in the southern heavens,
The sound of your name brings relief to my life.
CAPSULE OF JOY.

Where have I seen you before?
That smile!
I saw you in my dreams,
Where you came to me in unsoiled white garment of love,
I tried to hold you but could not,
I tried to lean on you but could not,
Because you choose not to stay in my face,
Rather you choose my heart as abode.
JOY IN A CAPSULE.

Where did I meet you?
I met you in my dreams,
I see you yet I search for you.
I hear you yet I strain my ears,
You are a dream concealed forever,
In the ocean of yourself.
UNIMAGINABLE JOY.
