Capitulated Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Capitulated

Capitulated

I flew Hercules in Iran
-took cargo and soldiers
-for running the bases
-all around, in each town.

Capitulated were leaders, officers
-all stole in a way, another!

Suffering was left for abandoned;
-Zahedan, Chah-Bahar, Abadan
-to Maku, Agh-Qalah and further!

That is when I could see the betrayed.
That is when I observed corruptions.
That is when felt who are enemies.
That is when I saddled my horses.
That is when inside me got flared.
That is when I opposed, secretly.

Yes, I was in Iran's government.
Yes, I was a second lieutenant.
Yes, I was one of the insiders.
Yes, I was indebted to nation.

Had sworn to defend the nation
-from in and outside the borders
-and was paid to have a better life.

I read and observed and practiced
-the news, history, each vector
-to actions of doers, behaviours
-and meant to reveal it red-handed.

Microscope, telescope and lab showed
-the corrupts, abusers, enemies
-are being connected; as well as united.

Saw that fish was rotten from head.

Rotten fish is no good and never
-is worth to protect, preserve…
