Candle Glow Poem by MKGF ...

Candle Glow

Rating: 4.5

cry with me little candle
as your fire flickers,
as you slowly burn
every inch of your being.

let your light glow little candle
though faint, your light soothes
while your fire dances with darkness
your hot tears come from within.

let your tears crawl down little candle
like mine from my heart.
let each flicker of fire burn
as we become one with the world.

'while your fire dances with darkness your hot tears come from within.' Indeed nice. And Poe writes candle flame is hypnotic and I add Romantic and Melancholic too. Great. dr. sakti. 14.08.09.

As I go on readin this poem the image for me is the ideal that the candle is lone and so are you but you become as one throughout the poem and indirectly the lone candle becomes the candle burning inside of you... It was a very neat writing I am glad I was able to read it.10+

a very introspective poem... bringing a reader into a pensive mood

when one is in darkness a candle can indeed be a comfort, and gives you enough light necessary for reflection....
