Cancer 7-16-09 Poem by Kim Davis

Cancer hurts physically and
mentally. Cancer is the
number one leading cause of
death. There are all kinds of Cancer.

It is a horrible disease.
I really don't like Cancer.
My Grandpa Ticknor died of
Cancer almost three months ago.

The strange thing is, is it
still hurts to know and
realize tht he has passed
away because of Cancer.

If we didn't catch it in the
worse stage, but earlier he
still might be alive right
now. I miss him alot.

I couldn't go to his funeral
because I had to stay in
my town for school to study
for finals that were most of my grade.

I still remember the day
that I got the news, like it was
yesterday. I went from happy to sad.
I knew it was coming but wasn't ready for it.
