Cancer Poem by ambitious blessing

Cancer

A dangerous epidemic has graced mother earth
On the horizon a dark cloud of sadness is looming
Questions rain supreme where did you come from oh Cancer
Like lighting you strike with a kiss of death
You tiptoe like a poacher and kill without sympathy
Extinction we face, how you came into existence we question
Grief tears our hearts when your blanket of death covers our relatives

Do you ever feel compassion
When last did you visit the church
You only sing funeral dirges
Your best friend is a coffin
Why do you despise the human race
Seeing people crying is your hobby

You are a mixed multitude of sorrow
Ruthlessly you kill people
Shamelessly you kill another
Have you not have had enough yet
You have replaced our smiles with grief
Animosity has become our daily bread
