To my daughter and all the team
The day that someone destroyed your dream
Terrorist bomb killed seventy-four
We could not let you go know more
It all happened on the day
That your were meant to go away
Your hopes were dashed and all was crushed
All because of terrorists
Your aim was to give kids a dream
To help build an orphanage nice and clean
To remove them from the slums that smell
And give these kids clean bill of health
The skills you honed from last year
Will help these kids the following year
You will go and do your stuff
For these Ugandan kids you can’t do enough
So team heads held high
Strong and proud you all stand out in the crowd
Proud to call you daughters and sons
Little gems every one
