Electric Lady

Can We Get Married Now?

You let me lose myself in the moment
When all is forbidden
There is no love lost between us
And we are both emotionally aware of that
My heart speaks and you listen
As the doors open and the windows close
I am free to be in your arms
And under your spell
A spell that remains unbroken
I am tied to you with no strings attached
The fantasy is more powerful than the real thing
In my mind I know
There is no other thrill
You make me the fool that I am
And I am that fool
You are the only one I can trust
To tear me apart when I am down
Somehow the universe understands
What we mean to each other
Love is not always right
It is wrong on so many levels
Yet you are the reason my heart speaks
Close the doors and open the windows
Let the air illuminate
Love is the life that we live for
Therefore we shall celebrate.

It is the beauty of human relationships that we may have certain shortcomings but in spite of that we crave for each other to give longevity to our love life. I would like to quote: I am tied to you with no strings attached / There is no other thrill / You make me the fool that I am / And I am that fool / Yet you are the reason my heart speaks / Therefore we shall celebrate.
