Can'T Stop Laughing Poem by Bob Bradley

Can'T Stop Laughing

Laughter is infectious
I catch it all the time
Its symptoms easily detected
Impossible to conceal when one is infected

Some attempt to suppress it
Thinking laughter should never be showed
Like dynamite with fuse lit
Eventually they explode

A witty remark
A joke well told
A funny story if you please
All these things are culprits
For they're carriers of the disease

When life seems filled with misery
And your driven to despair
As quick as you can think of something funny
Use humor to help you repair

If nothing to you seems funny at all
I'm willing to help just give me a call
I'll try my best to rid your sorrow
With perhaps a dumb joke and laughter to borrow.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
When times get tough, sometimes all you can do to bear the strain is laugh.
