Can Never Reach On Top Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I can never reach on the top,
Many road blocks and stop,
Climbing difficult on high slope,
But still efforts more with attempts nonstop,

I am amused but is a fact,
Unhealthy competition for retaining position intact,
It is ploy, calculated and revised tactics,
Retaining position with clear statistics,

I have found method give and take,
Poets think water will not deplete in a lake,
You rate for me I will also rate and make,
We form a nexus and share the cake,

This is how we manage the scene,
Adhere to unfair practice always seen,
Why go for cheap name and so keen?
Alas! There would have fair practice been,

Now fair ideas and name is also for sale,
Create reddish on face but still look pale,
Cheating the soul with poetry and ideas to induct,
Canvassing for creative work as new product,

Things doesn’t stop at this stage,
Continuous link and always manage,
Sudden and artificial climb with artificial rating,
These all happen but lowers and prestige eating,

This is simple but done with intent,
Deprive the deserving with their patent,
If something good is to be done then curb the practice,
Judging to be done by purely merit and justice,

It gives joy to find place at top,
Ambition rise high with no stop,
When face actual scene develop cold feet,
Far from truth and eyes never meet,

It may be easy to manage floor show,
Desire, ambition and urge within grow,
But unable to maintain with natural flow,
When down to earth will be biggest blow,

Empires and kingdoms not built on rubbles,
Water can’t be controlled with untimely bubbles
Not sky can be aimed and created with holes,
Only one power can do it as only layer ozone
