Calm Me Down Poem by Tammi Celina Lyons

Calm Me Down

Calm me down
I don't want to be around
Much longer.
I'm feeling much weaker,
I'm not getting stronger.
Calm me down
I feel like I'm buried underground.
Watch me die
The chances I have tried.

Words just been said,
How can I understand?
It's been the same
As ever.
Everything is to blame.
(Me forever)

Pieces of my life,
I'm leaving behind.
I feel blind
Just remembering the times
I could've been alive.

Calm me down
I don't want to be around
Much longer.
I'm feeling much weaker,
I'm not getting stronger.
Calm me down
I feel like I'm buried underground.
Watch me die
The chances I have tried.

My heart burns.
Can't take the turns
That's been going
Round and round
Hurting me more,
I'm done for sure.

Lay me down
Stay with me
When my time is done.
My life is already gone.
What is there?
Nothins for me.

Calm me down
I don't want to be around
Much longer.
I'm feeling much weaker,
I'm not getting stronger.
Calm me down
I feel like I'm buried underground.
Watch me die
The chances I have tried.
