Called Home Poem by Ray Hansell

Called Home

Rating: 5.0

I think of you so often
Probably, more then I should
But I can't change a thing
And that's probably just as good

I never ever pictured life
Living here alone
But there was nothing I could do
As you were called home

But I know that you are safe now
In God's loving hands
Living in eternity
Without any demands

There are so many things in life
That we cannot control
But joining you one day in heaven
Well, that will be my goal

So please save a place for me
Right there by your side
So, when I do get to heaven
Once again you can be my bride
