Rating: 2.6

Please call me by my true name,
Not the ones that with tags came;
For it always reminds me
What I truly want to be…

Please call me by my true name,
Not the ones that put me in a frame,
So the spring of joy and laughter
Makes me bloom hereafter.

I choose to keep the gate
Of my heart open, free of hate
Let Him show me the path,
To live in the midst of wrath.

Pain and sorrow I know
Will come even tomorrow,
But joy and laughter
Will follow for sure, thereafter.

I will try, henceforth
None inhibits my growth,
Even if plunged in gloom
Let me like a Lotus bloom.

We all require our own free-winged idendities...wheter we are spoken for by law...or have made committments to something or someone...It's called RESPECT and if one has earned it...it should be honoured...always, by all! Don't know if i have interpreted this piece accurately...If not...trust me, Mamtaji...it is ME, not YOU, who is out-of-it! ...It's 6am in New York City...and i have yet to get last nights sleep sleep! Fine Work, as always from you, my good friend! ~ ~ ~ 2009

A beautiful, positive write. But there is something very poignant about it as well. I believe you will bloom like the Lotus, Mamta. Your eloquence becomes you. Warmest regards, Sandra
