Call Me By My Name Poem by Gideon Arthur

Call Me By My Name

Meet me in the street and call me by name
Let me know the fragrance of your voice
The taste of my fame
Call me by name and I'll rejoice
Nothing on this planet speaks more of me than my name
Your voice aroma will sprinkle molecules of your heart
From it I may test the presence of love or hatred and maim
From then my path will be defined by my heart
Should i come closer, or run further
Call me by name, I will know who you are
To keep my name I may travel close or far
Just call me by name
