Infront of you I dropped my sword and shield
asked you to come see the sight of sages
in the midnight moonlit fields

The string on your bow, rang a tune
as your silken hand released the tension
An arrow in flight to start the revolution
The silent cries of fallen soldiers
...

Long for me, like shipwrecked sailors long for shores
I enchant you with my eyes like the tender ember of the log
I tickle your neck like a feather from your pillow
Ride on the loving whispers from my lips, like the prophets on pegasus

I've sown sails out of worn out clothes and patches
I've made my rudder out of broomsticks and matches
my crew consist of different versions of me and you
If they shoot a hole in my ship, i'll restore it with glue

Perhaps my words fall from tongue
like honey from a child's fingers
sweet and innocently,
curious and with guilt

Resist licking the sugar off of your lips
and i'll stop writing you paper slips
with thoughts of every single thing I felt
through all this bullshit

Embers, the past in embers and the leaves full of life now withered.
Fall, when the world gets covered in a crust of caramilsed sugar and cinnamon.
Where every leaf is a flower. The last breath, the last burst of life, natures crescendo.
