Calamvs Gladio Fortior Poem by Kolawole Ajao

Equip a thousand mighty men
Each with unbreakable sword
To face the wordsmith in battle
Him alone with an inkful of pen
The belligerent swordsmen
And their sanguinary swords
The single pint of blood spilled
Was used to write their destiny.

    Legendary...
reminds me of 300 spartans and a line in my poem ''A POETS' MIND''
one cant help but acknowledge the strength of 'our' mighty pen.
