Cage Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Cage

Rating: 3.5

Cage

Thoughtful in heart
And head in hands
Sat next to a hut
Looked at world around
To the stars, to water, also men
To Green, Fish, and Mountain
Eyebrow curved showing sadness
Of the life, world, full of madness
Heard command; his answers short
-Silent
-I will
-Don't look
-I won't
-No thinking
-I can't
Murmured:
-Life is a coming for the sake of leaving.
-All the days are filled with pain and sorrow.
-What about love, lust, when awake or asleep?
-With cruel life to co-exist.
