Cactus And The Desert Poem by prasanna kumari

Cactus And The Desert

Rating: 4.8

Cactus and the Desert

the cactus conspiring with sweet darkness
to weave the story of the deserted minds

the cactus brooding over-eyes on the far horizon
to weave the tunes of the lonely minds

the cactus seduces the azure sky
weaving dreams
to germinate on the barren life

the cactus beckons weeping silence
to weave a rhapsody for forlorn souls

the cactus flirting with the rainless cloud
to shower rainbow colors on the empty hearts

I have seen the cactus through those eyes as well, but I never have the words to describe them as you do. GW62

'Amazing' is the word that comes to mind when you have finished reading this poem. I feel as if the tulips have bloomed in the barren desert dunes. Thanks for sharing.

Cactus grows in the loneliness of arid lands. It imparts a kind of vitality to the desolation around. Let Cactus bloom in the deserts of lonely minds, giving colour and beauty! Enjoyed! !
