C O N F L I C T Poem by Kishore Kumar Das

C O N F L I C T

If I can't see you
and you can't see me
why conflict?
If I can't speak to you
and you can't speak to me
why conflict?
If I can't write to you
and you can't write to me
why conflict?
You are playing your role
I am playing my role
conflict, if any, is 'role conflict'
and it should not spill down to
'real conflict'
Even if we are together
let us adjust
through 'role conflict'
let the 'real conflict' evaporate:
we will always be together
in our inner world
full of happiness.
