Buying Into Hope Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Buying Into Hope

"lost souls
broken souls
derelict ruins

littered
crushed
lives life's

derelict hard
indented pitted
byways"

they came
to me
moths

on shattered
splintered
wings

burned
blackened
by candle flame

superheated
suspended
hot light bulbs

naked
lacerated
cut skin jagged

deep jagged
gashes wounds
irregular edges

beckoning
burning
ashen wings

singed
scorched
black ruins

feathers
final fibers
flame life pleas

they reach out
ruined gutted
tendrils

ragged frayed
wounded
thoughts

lost
stability tangled
shrieking hopes

shrinking
shrinking
into husks

as darkness
expands
limits

as darkness
expands
engulfs

silver gold
platinum ghost
thoughts

rubies
emeralds
diamonds gifts

God
given unique souls
dreams

a maze
inter-dimensional
thoughts

sow
global
earth lives

mists
waking
into realities

dark empty
patches
latches

come
to fruition
tuition

belief faith purity
fuels skills ability
energy birth regeneration

born again
heats minds
souls lives

measurement
size aspect
lifelike quality

artistic quality
appearing
convincing

consciousness
existence reality
properties

magnitudes
mass
time

collectively
defines
transitive dimensions
