Butterscotch Buttons Poem by Marilyn Lott

Butterscotch Buttons

They are called butterscotch buttons
And my friend, they really are good
It's the salt along with the sweetness
They put me in a tranquil mood.

I let them melt very slowly, you see
Try so hard not to crunch on them
So they can satisfy a craving
Each one is truly a special gem.

If you get the chance please take it
The search for deliciousness is done
When you very slowly dissolve
A butterscotch button on your tongue.
