Butterfly People Poem by The Light and the darkness

Butterfly People

Empty bodies move abound
Like weightless butterflies on our cursed ground
People living with no substance
Fluttering ‘round where the flower them bound.

Youthful strive kept in a cage
Extends to where individ’alism rage
To laugh when should
Just for whom you could
To say what’s expect’d.
To be where you ought
With whom you may be caught.

O they strive for their freedom…
In bondage self built.
Rebelling dictation
But imposing without guilt.

Butterfly people roam this earth
Criteria boxed, from stupidity birthed

Floating after thought that’s comfort

Behaviour bound
Submitting only
To the worlds’ easy sound
