Butterfly Dance Poem by David Harris

Butterfly Dance

Rating: 5.0

Looking out my window
I know summer is here
butterflies dance gracefully
in the morning air.
They move from flower to flower
doing pirouettes everywhere.
Their delicate wings flutter
like the eyes of a shy bride.
They brighten up the morning
with their gentle butterfly dance.

Again a wonderful composition... Very nice to read.... good to relax the burning, sore and wearied mind.. These kind of poems are always good to get away from the complexties of modern hectic world we live in.. always make me feel better... hate this rat race we engage in these days.. Yet the case is, if we don't run, we will lose.. So this stupid rat always feels better when he sees such beautiful, verbal paintings.. yet I can ' t stop for long though gotta run! ! ! ! bye, , , see you again... with lots of lovess shan

A very beautiful poem David. I loved the pirouettes and 'their delicate wings flutter like the eyes of a shy bride'. And, thank you for sharing too! Karin Anderson
