Butterflies Poem by S.M. Riggin

Butterflies

He grabs my hand
fingers inertwined,
rubbing them gently
tingles everywhere,
butterflies.

Looks me in the eyes
we stare, not blinking,
he moves his other hand
on top of mine,
butterflies

Sitting there, we talk
no silence through the night
once more he looks over
wraps his arms around my waist,
butterflies

tickle tickle tickle
He says its cute.
the night goes solemn when he stops,
butterflies

staring into my eyes,
I bite my lip
my heart skips a beat
'I Love you' he says
Butterflies!
