Butter And Honey Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Butter And Honey

Rating: 5.0

Life,
To eat butter and honey;
So that, you may be able to refuse evil!
And, to choose righteousness.

Of a young cow and two sheep!
With the abundance of milk;
And, to eat butter and honey,
In the land of the living.

Love,
To a place where oxen are let loose to pasture!
love,
To a place where sheep are let loose to roam about;
And, like the muse of a faithful witness.

Love,
To rejoice!
And, to let it flow out softly;
With the muse of butter and honey.
