Butcher Hollar
The sign for Butcher Holler is only
A rock on the side of the road
Yes, my friend, that is all
Leading to a handful of abodes.
This is in Kentucky where the singer
Loretta Lynn was born
She became a famous country star
Though the town looks a bit forlorn.
It was quite an interesting visit
A town that is worth your bother
I hope that someday you can also
Visit a place called Butcher Holler.
