But That Was Yesterday... Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

But That Was Yesterday...

Rating: 3.3

Just an orphan - - you were
Of a cold motherless womb
Walking an uncivilized path of wrath
A prophet of doom and gloom

Just a single silhouette - - you were
A fading guest of a so-called Karmic's quest
You-the barbarian of darkness's island
Such a red ant - brown spider - planted 'Pest'

Just an enigmatic spirit of 'Hatred spread'
Now a fugitive of our eye's captured moment's of you
For you- it was always about our suffering
Such an atrocity of our blood - your desired to view

Just a nightmare of a shadow monster
Of the Atlantic coast's pregnant shores of earth
Today, you are stark naked in a boundless world
As unfathomable labor pains begin- soon to give birth

Just another birthday of a devil spawned beast
From the sunshine state - to the lone star state tethered
With or without your mindless drug connections
Gathered together again-are - 'The Birds Of One Feather'
