But Stardust Poem by Blue Guitar

But Stardust

There is an ultimate beauty
In that out of nothing,
Literally nothing,
But stardust left to its own devices
Of mingling and meeting
Can the universe create you
And I
And past lovers, friends, strangers,
And that feeling of a lump in the throat
Over endlessly edited messages
Never to be sent.
Stardust.
All stardust.
Eons spent searching
For the chance to feel
The desire to desire
Let us celebrate
That we are the secret dreams of stars.
