But For What Reason Poem by Dr Shamim ali

But For What Reason

But for what Reason
I always look for an answer,
But no one is here to answer me
I’m at this point, you’re at this juncture
But for what reason
I keep looking around here and there
And all I see is tragedy nothing else
People dying over here all the time
People dying over there like caterpillars
I’m at this point, you’re at this juncture
But for what reason
I keep hearing sounds all the time,
Sounds of suicidal attacks and bombs,
Sounds of people screaming and cries
And sounds of amusement nowhere
I’m at this point, you’re at this juncture
But for what reason
I take a closer look of my well wisher
I want to find out what is he holding behind
Holding in his hand was dagger
I want to shout, scream for help
Oh you Brutus you do the same.
I’m at this point; you’re at this juncture
But for what reason
