Burnt Bridges Poem by KUNAL SETH

Burnt Bridges

Rating: 4.0

A bridge connects two ends
Two ends of the world
World that is a shelter to confusion
Confusion is all that prevails
Prevailing like the winds of the west
West where the sun always sets
Setting of perfect pictures and lives
Lives of people avoiding life
Life expanded says Lonely Inside For Eternity
Eternity is the rendezvous for whatever that can’t be achieved
Achievement always drove a common man
Common man to the point of no return
Returning not always an option
Option creates doubt
Doubt burnt bridges and ember reflections lit the dark sky
Dark Sky a shelter to the leftovers
Leftovers of the bridge where two ends once met.
