Buried Poem by Atticus Mortimer

Buried

Rating: 4.0

It starts with a pebble,
So innocent and harmless at first,
but,
watch what you say dear friend,
Let it lie,
and see how quickly more pebbles come,
Like some shark,
drawn to the scent of their prey's blood,
Now look at you,
I hate to say I told you so,
really I couldn't if I wanted to,
'cause,
If I open my mouth it is filled,
with gravel.
