Burdens To Bear Poem by Douglas ClearyMaxwell

Burdens To Bear

I've been the king of kings
To the poorest of poors
I've been here, there, and everywhere
From the highest mountains
Below the lowest valleys
I turn
I learn
I even earn
Even watched before me my world burn
Life is Hell
Thats the motto
Hope that I may win the lotto
Body hurts in every way
Leading me to my dismay
I swear I'll never rest until that day
Fight to keep these terrible thoughts at bay
You were never there but thats ok
I'll keep on swinging til' I find my way
