Buoyant Boy Poem by Jeannette Heywood

Buoyant Boy

Rating: 5.0

Beautiful, brave, buoyant boy.
Floating, cutting, slicing through the blue waves.
Strokes made with zest and zeal.
At home in this medium as is a seal.
Alternately, lazy, drifting aloft the liquid ripples.
Always at home there, swift, sleek, supreme, amidst the fluid onslaught.

I think, this poem is about a 'buoyant boy' whom you have seen swimming, floating and drifting on blue waters. The words portray a visual imagery. Nice poem, well done!
